P.S. I Love You!
If you know me, you know that I'm a hopeless romantic...and I have a feeling it's all my fathers fault. He started this thing with my Mom back when they were first married. He was taking an art class up at Weber State when he came up with 143. Which means simply I Love You (1-I, 4-L O V E, 3-Y O U)! As kids, we started noticing on notes or in cards that my father always left 143 next to his name. Soon we caught on, and we would leave a 143 next to an XOXO by our own name. Sometimes, we even used a secret three squeezes to each other in church when we shouldn't be talking. It's just kind of been our thing!
So, when Todd & I got married we changed thing around to make our own version...314, you I love! My one Brother & his wife use 434, love you babe. Another uses 436, Love you always! My youngest brother hasn't decided yet...we'll see what they come up with! My point to all this? That traditions are important, but nothings more important then telling the people you love, that you love them everyday...after all you never know how long you'll have them!
Thanks Dad, for all your love over the years!
P.S. 143!
Little Ball-er!
The other day after his baseball game an older gentlemen walked up to Brennan and said "Your quite the baller". Brennan made his famous angry face and replied, "I'm not a baby!" We then had the pleasure of explaining that a Ball-er was a good thing! Oh, the joys of baseball! It was a fun season for Brennan especially because he had lots of friends on his team...Peyton Holmes, Jacob Warner, Zack Sandberg, Dallin Barlow, Alessio Dehart & a new found friend Jonathan Lucas.

The Great Bambino!
The baseball season is only 2 weeks away from being done, and I have to admit, it was just starting to be fun! Last year when Brock played, his team mates called him "The Great Bambino", he wasn't sure what to think of it at first, but after watching "Sandlot" loved the idea of being a great hitter like Babe Ruth. So, every game when he steps up to the plate I cheer "Okay, Babe you've got it!". Brock knows exactly what "Babe" I'm referring to & I love to see the smile spread across his face....Way to go my heavy hitter, your still worthy of the name!
FLOWERS!
Flowers!!!! It is safe to say you can count on one hand, okay with two fingers the many times my husband has given me flowers! For years I really hoped for them, then finally gave up! But this last Wednesday, these beauties arrived for our 15 year Anniversary, the even more impressive part was Todd was away all week at football camp in Logan and ordered them ahead of time! Way to go honey! Thanks! 314/143
15 Years & Holding!!!!!

Wow, is it possible that 15 years have really passed by? It seems like just yesterday when we were dating, and making wedding plans. Then came all the excitement of children, buying a house (after 11 years of renting) and watching our children have their success's as they grow. We've shared so many life changing experiences, and like Todd told me earlier this week, "I wouldn't give a single one back, or want to share it with anyone else." Ditto that! Oh, I'm sure the next 15 will go equally fast! But when I think about it all, the best part is that I'll be with these sweet boys and this handsome husband of mine, forever!

Summer is here!
Wow! I went for a couple of weeks without any new posts...must be summer! What have I been up to you ask? Well, check out the new posts below....we have a new summer schedule chart which Daddy helped Brock make it has lots of glue just like in school, and includes school work, craft time, nap time (for Mom & Levi) and even time for Gamecube, yes...I said it! Gamecube, the anti-video game Mom & Dad broke down and hooked up the Gamecube, given to us by a friend. We have one game and the kids have been great about earning play time by doing their chores around the house...in fact the only person who has had any kind of a problem has been Dad, but I put a quick end to that when he was still up at 2:00am the other night playing. I just went and unplugged it...He still loves me! :)
Besides video games, Todd's doing the Football thing, just like he does every summer with camps the entire month of June (Weber State, Utah State, UNLV, and BYU, plus two-a-days here at Pineview). Brock & Brennan just finished two weeks of swimming lessons, and are both playing baseball. I got brave & signed up for a cake class, unfortunately it hasn't helped as much as I had hoped (I still suck!) but will keep working on it! Levi is well, Levi! Trouble with a capital "T", but trying to figure out this whole walking thing! He gets up and just stands and claps for himself, but hasn't thought about taking a step! It will come when he's ready, and walking will just mean it's easier for him to reach door knobs and I don't need that!
We've been spending quite a bit of extra time with Grandpa as he's been in and out of the hospital, but all in all just staying super busy! I hope your summer is full of as much fun as ours has been so far! This picture is of Todd & Brock with the Glue & the Chart...Watch out!!! :)
Amazing Parents...
My parents are rather amazing! Well, I may be a bit biased, but they have been through their far share of health issues this past year & continue to press forward with positive attitudes & much faith! After my Mothers 4 Wheeling accident last November, and a number of falls while still doing therapy on her shoulder I thought they may have a bit of a break, but then again their last name is Nelson, which happens to attract trouble...Now with my fathers new diagnoses of cancer, comes a whole new kind of trial, but I'm sure they will, as always, press forward, with an unwavering love for the lord, and receive many blessings as they start my fathers treatments. I am grateful the Lord always finds a way to comfort and bless us in time of need, and I'm so very proud to call both of these amazing people, my parents...I love you Mom & Dad!

L.T.
We have renamed Levi the Little Tornado, which conveniently happens to be his initials (Levi Todd). What a smart little sucker! He is really giving all of us a run for our money...if you don't close a door tightly, he puts his fingers under the door or pulls the door stop to open it, so, between throwing things down the stairs, (his favorite items from the pantry are cans of tomato sauce or 2 liters of diet coke) to tasting the toilet seat (if someone forgets to close the door behind them) and fishing in the toilet bowl for what ever he's tossed in, if you forget lid. Not to mention the trash can, which he has figured, that if you step on the foot lever, the top opens up to a world of good things which he can throw, or better yet taste! Holy Cow!!!! As soon as I think I've got something child proofed he finds something else! Finally, I set up the play pen and put him in it! He screamed at me for an entire 40 minutes while I swept & mopped the floor. Finally, when I moved on to the dishes and he knew I wasn't getting him out, he started playing with the toys, and then pressing his face up against the sides of the play pen....It was so funny, that I couldn't help but run for the camera! What a kid! You've got to love them!!!

My Fish...
The two big boys think they are fish....as they do every summer after swimming lessons! This year we took lessons with Mona Davis, which we loved, and the boys were so excited on the last day when she let them keep the change they collected off the bottom of the pool.
