I Look Ridiculous!

Each time Todd is on his way out of town for Football or some other sport he takes and has a little one on one time with each of the boys...When Levi gets his time with Dad he always wants to read books. One we just brought home from the library seemed to fit perfectly it's call "You look ridiculous!"
The book is about a hippo who is told she looks ridiculous by a rhino because she has no horn...and so the story goes!
Why this fits so well is because after our last trip for hair cuts, we walked outside and upon seeing his reflection in the window Levi informed me "I look ridiculous! Dis not Cool! I not Awesome!" Followed by a complete melt down. Needless to say he didn't like his hair and when we got home & he told Todd about looking "Ridiculous" we laughed & laughed!
How cute is our Levi even if he looks Ridiculous!?!

1 Day Digi Scrappin Workshop

On Memorial Day I went to a 1 Day Digital Scrap Book Workshop in Las Vegas with my Sister In-laws (Alisha who was teaching, & Nikki who was my own special technical support)....it was great fun! I learned a few new things & had the chance to meet all kinds of beautiful & amazing gals! Here are just a few of those cute ladies!

The great thing about this class is we were all able to bring our own computer's and follow along as we learned how to use the digital program, edit pictures, make custom blogs, and then do the recipe exchange! One other wonderful thing about this class was we were able to be there with our cousins that live there in Las Vegas that we love & don't get to spend as much time with as we would like...this is Vanessa & Mckenzie, plus you can't see her, but Patti sat next to me and kept me in raptures the whole time! (The blind leading the blind is never good!)

Thank goodness for my Sister Nikki who when my computer froze up, let me use hers...I'm glad she had already taken that part of the class!

Oh, and a Big Thanks to Becky who let us come to her huge beautiful new home...I was wishing I could find a closet to live in (I could have, and she would of never known)

Also I couldn't help but fall in love with her stair case....look how the grand piano doesn't look so grand next to the stairs! :)

So, a big Thank You Lish for holding the class it was a blast!!! We are all looking forward to the big 2 day class in November!

Feel The Love

My Brother & Sister In-Law just celebrated their 12th Anniversary, and I wanted to do something a little special for them on that day, because they very rarely get a chance for any down time together! You see they have a 2 year old (well, he's one of two 2 year olds) who has some special needs. This requires one of them to be with him at all times! Which means, the only alone time they get is when all the kids have gone to bed....
So, I figured with it being impossible to get away, why not bring a little romance to them!

I know it's a little silly, but with some help from both cute Mom's, mine & my Sister In-Law's (which neither one said out loud that they thought I was crazy, thank you very much) we were able to pull this off while they were gone on a trip up to Primary Children's Hospital.
When they returned home surprise, surprise, a little romantic setting with a plush astro turf rug, comfortable lawn chairs, a candle lit water feature along with flowers, their favorite treats and beverage, and of course, all the mood light anyone needs for a little romance....hee, hee, hee!

Happy Anniversary to two Amazing people who mean the world to me!

Summer Fun!

I can hardly wait for school to get out each year so that we can start having a whole bunch of SUMMER FUN!
Last Friday night the Boys & I slept out on the back patio...it was prefect weather and even though we stayed up a little late talking, when the sun came up (at 6:00 something) we still felt completely rested!
I Love Summer and all of it's Adventures!
