Scouts...

Dear Journal~

I'm grateful that my boys love scouts & have such amazing den leaders!

In March Brock and Brennan both did a great job in earning their Wolf and Webelos badges. I was so happy for Brennan with his wolf, but apparently he doesn't understand the system yet! He's suppose to wait until I take a picture of him before running back to his seat! Maybe next time!

Brock looks so handsome in his uniform and is one badge away from his Arrow of Light...the ready man and a troop hike is all that's left!

Way to go Boys!

Valentines Boxes!

Dear Journal~

Every year the boys and I get so excited about creating their Valentines Day Boxes! This year we thought we had all weekend to make boxes, and had a few cool paper mache things planned, but then Brock's 4th Grade class decided they wanted to do a service project & celebrate Valentines day on Friday instead of Monday.
HELLO...WRENCH! Thank goodness we had all those suckers made!

The service project was to make sandwiches for Dixie Care & Share which was really cool!

The kids had a great time making sandwiches and assembling the sack lunches.

Because of the short notice on making Brock's Valentines Box...Nana suggested this cleaver idea with a real basketball verses a paper mache one and amazingly it worked!

Here are a couple of other Boxes we thought were cool in Brock class!

Last but not least! Brennan and Brock are such awesome kids that when Brennan mentioned that he thought Brock's basketball was very cool, Brock offered to let him use it on Monday for his Valentines class party. Brock even helped change the name on the ball to Brennan! Brennan was so grateful... which I really appreciated! He could have easially complained that he wanted his own ball or something like that but as always he just smiles is happy and rolls with life as if everything is the best it can be!

I'm so grateful for such thoughtful boys!

I love you....Happy Valentines Day!

PVHS Basketball Camp

Dear Journal~

At the first of the year both Brock & Brennan participated in a Basketball Camp over at Pine View High School.

They had a good time and were especially proud to be some of the last boys in line for the "Speed" game. In fact Brennan on the first day got Brock out which left him with one other boy, but ended up getting out himself, making him the runner up.

But on the second day Brock told me before leaving the car to go in to the gym that he was going to win the "Speed" game today....sure enough he did!

Way to go boys!

Love you!

Cousin's Rule!

Dear Journal~

I love how my kids think that their cousin's rule! They have so much fun together and I just wish some of them could live closer!

At the first of the year Hen-Dog got to come south and stay with our Nana & Papa for a few days....of course we had to have Henry come over and hang out! The boys had all kinds of fun...

The cousin's watching cartoons and eating Cheeto's!

Henry trying to figure out how to shoot a basketball! Levi and I spent so much time on the floor laughing that I think Henry won the one of one round!

What fun, and how great to have cousin's close in age!

Until next time...

The Coaches/Friends!

Dear Journal~

Todd had a couple of really close friends which he spends a lot of time with due to Football. Most the time you can find them talking on the phone at night after a sporting event, or at the High School in the weight room with the Football players or out on the Football field running drills, but I never seem to get them all together....and especially never get to take a picture of them when their not in their Pine View Coaching Shirts. So when the chance came about this past December I took it! (I am missing Coach "B" in this picture, one of his other friends)

Looking Good Gentlemen! Todd, Dale Stott, & Ray Hosner

I'm grateful for all this good men who do so much for Todd and our family...

Until next time...
