4 Week Fitness Challenge

This 4 week Fitness Challenge is mainly for me....but I figured, if I was going to do it, why not let anyone who needed a little motivation do it too! And whats more motivating then $$$$$?

We Begin MONDAY APRIL 5TH and ends FRIDAY APRIL 3OTH!

So, here's how it works!
(the nutshell version first) You have your starting weight, you work out the required amount each week, a ticket with your name on it goes into the weekly pot, another ticket goes in if you've lost any weight. Saturday we have a winner, it's posted & you get your cash! This goes on for 4 weeks until we have (hopefully, thinner more fit versions of our selves &) the drawing for the big money in "Challenge Pot"!

The Game with out the Nut Shell!

You Pay $8.00 to get in on the action!
That's $2.00 a week! The Money goes into the Weekly & Challenge Pots!

Then you meet the weekly fitness requirements.
Which is Five (5) 30 Minute workouts each week!
If you work out for an hour then it counts as "2" or just go for a walk around the block each morning for 30 minutes 5 different days, it's up to you!

The money!
Your $8 entry fee will be divided into two, the first $4 will go into the "Weekly Pots" ($1 to each weekly pot) your other $4 will go into the "Challenge Pot" which will be Won at the very end of the Challenge...

The Rules!?!
1. You must complete 5, 30 minute work outs each week.
2. You will need to weigh yourself & give me your official starting weight. (Don't worry, me and only me will see this number!)
3.Each week you will receive a call from me to get your workout stats & new weight. (This means, as much as we hate 2, you have to weigh yourself each Friday!)
*Having every ones weights is just so I can post percentages for each week, along with the Weekly Pot Winner!
*also each week you lose weight you receive an extra ticket with your name on it in that weeks pot!

How to get your name tickets into Money Pots!

Weekly Pots - Just work out! That's one ticket. Lose a little weight! That's a second ticket!
*Each week after the winner for the week has been drawn, all the remaining tickets will roll over for the following weeks pot. This just ups your chance to win!

Challenge Pot - Here are all the ways you can get tickets into the big pot! By working out each week (that = 4 tickets), by losing a little weight each week (= 4 more tickets), by meeting one or even two of your end of fitness goals (2 more tickets) by loosing the greatest % of weight for the Women, or the biggest % of weight for the men. So, can have as many as 11 total tickets in the drawing for the big Challenge Pot!

K, last but not least...I mentioned the two extra goal tickets.
When you agree to enter & you pay your $8.00 you will give two goals you wish to reach by the end of the 4 weeks. It can be a set weight of 5 pounds, or to be able to go or 30 minutes on the treadmill at level 5, or simply being able to fit in your next size down jeans. What ever you'd like, but you should have two so you can get those extra tickets!

That's it! That's the 4 Week Fitness Challenge!
*I have set up a separate blog just for this challenge, and that's where you go to sign up, check stats and find out who wins!

Creamy Hawaiian Heaven

Creamy Hawaiian Heaven is a yummy new light cake dessert. I made it the other day and everyone in my family loved it! See if yours do too!

1 Duncan Hines Pineapple Cake-Baked and set a side
1 small boxes of Vanilla Instant Pudding
2 small Cans of Crushed Pineapple
1 Cup of Milk
1 Large tub of Cool Whip - soft not frozen
Some fresh Strawberries
A pretty bowl to put it in!

1. Set our cool whip out to start to soften.

2. Bake your cake & set it a side.

3. Combine both boxes of vanilla pudding, and both cans of pineapple along with the 1 Cup of cold milk. Whisk for about 2 minutes then set in fridge.

4. In your "Pretty Bowl" crumble 1/2 of your pineapple cake in the bottom of the bowl. I had made my cake in two 8" rounds & just set one in the bottom to start.

5.Pour 1/2 of your pudding mixture over the cake at the bottom.

6. Layer cool whip over pudding and cake.

7. Repeat the layers of crumbled cake, pudding and cool whip again.

Last, I garnished with tons of strawberry pieces on top, but you can use which ever fresh fruit you like best. Also, next time I think I will add a layer of fruit in the middle on top of the first cool whip layer.

Sorry I forgot to get a picture of it with the strawberries on top!

Enjoy!

The cousin recipe to this in Chocolate is called Hagrids Hash. I also make it, but forgot to take pictures of it...As soon as I broke into it, it was practically gone!

Here are the ingredients, you make it the same way!

1 Chocolate Cake Baked & set a side
2 Boxes of Jello's new Instant Oreo Pudding
2 Cups cold Milk
1 Large Tub of Cool Whip
1 Bag of Heath Mini Bars - unwrapped & crunched into small pieces

*when mixing up the jello, us only 2 cups of milk for both the boxes even though the instructions on the boxes say 2 each & would be a total of 4 cups. It makes the pudding just a little thicker!

Crumble 1/2 the cake, add 1/2 your pudding then the layer of cool whip topped with 1/2 of you crunched up Heath bars. Repeat the layers with the last of the candy on top! Enjoy!
