Happy 4th Birthday Levi
March 2011
Dear Journal~
Wow! Levi is growing up so fast! He just celebrated his 4th Birthday! It was lots of fun with paper decorations covering all the walls of the family room, some of his best friends and lots of Dinosaur activities! His Dinosaur Themed Party enabled us to use plenty of the color GREEN…his favorite!
A few of the activities we did with the kids for Levi's party were: Made hunter hats for a dinosaur hunt in the basement. Match the baby Dinosaur to its Mommy! Can you Count how many different kinds of Dinosaur’s…..
Our Dinosaur Hunter Hats...
The Dinosaurs we went hunting in the basement...
Each child had a bag with their name on it to keep all their goodies...
Paper Decorations around the house...and Dinosaur matching game...
Couple of Levi's favorite friends...
Ben Monson, Connor Kenworthy, Chaz Holbrook, Jena Humphries, Neilyona Brinagh, & Mason Hardy
Thank you everyone for helping us Celebrate!
I love you Mr. Levi! You're a super great kid...hope you had a fun Birthday!

Grandma's Cancer
March 2011
Dear Journal~
You can imagine our surprise when Grandma Nelson (Shonya) went in to have a simple procedure of removing a goader from her throat & ended up with cancer. There was a huge growth on her right side that stretched from her right ear down over her collar bone and into her chest. The left side that had what they thought was a goader, was another cancer growth about the size of a golf/ping pong ball.
After removing most of the growth on one side February 23, she returned to surgery on February 24th for the rest of the right & the left. Unfortunately her right vocal cord was removed and the left while incircled with cancer also was still working some.
The past five weeks have been difficult for her! Needless to say 3 surgeries, and 4 extended stays in the hospital have not been her choice of a club med vaction.
We are very proud of her and wish her all the best in a quick recovery! Love you Grandma! Shondell

We were all so excited when our cousin Jacob Stewart returned home after two years in the New York Mission!
Jacob is such a great guy, and one the boys really look up too! They couldn't have picked a better role model! Glad to have you home! :)
