Back to the Blogging World!

Where have I been the past two weeks you ask? Living Life!!! It gets crazy this time of year! (Football Season) Spending a week sitting around the house doesn't help either! So, let me give a great big "THANK YOU!" to all my amazing friends & family who took care of me last week, with meals, drop in cleanings of my house (that's real love) and check in calls to see if I needed anything from the store! I really appreciate it! So, "THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!" again! I am truly blessed!

Okay, to bring you up to speed...this is what I've been up too! (From two weeks ago, until now!)

Making Bags! (Here are a couple of my favorites)

Road Trips to Vegas for Football games....(We kicked butt 41-13)

Doc Stott, was nice enough to get Todd & I a room while we were in Vegas & our cousins took the big boys, so Levi got to be pampered with us! (This is him in his bath towel after soaking in the tub...to bad the complementary slippers didn't fit!)
By the way...the room was gorgeous, and something Todd & I would never ever be able to afford to stay in!

Here are our cousins we love to visit in Vegas....they went with us after the game to dinner at PF Chang one of our favorite restaurants.
(Sorry, I know you're going to hate this picture, but none turned out!

Went to Birthday Party for our cute friend Nayleona (spelling) who turned 1! Nayleona is so beautiful! This is Nayleona & her Daddy, and also, Levi, Nayleona, & Lauren (Nayleona's Mommy)

We made Birthday Cakes for Uncle Jerett, Grandpa Nelson & our good friend Aubrey...Brennan is an excellent helper...(at licking the beaters)

We layed low & watched lots & lots & lots & lots....did I say lots? of movies this past week! And ate all kinds of yummy food that people brought us...(This is Levi enjoying spaghetti & meatballs) Thanks Wendy E.!

Also, I've had a chance to work on a little genealogy while sitting around, and defiantly have the bug! (which is not a good thing, because I don't get anything else accomplished!)

So, that's it! You're now up to speed on our past two weeks! It's great to be back in the blogging world again! I've been wondering how it would go on with out me? Hee, Hee, Hee!

Thanks again everyone for all of your love & service....

Ball! Ball! Ball!

Levi thinks everything is a ball! He says ball, or Gampa all day long! The only problem is knowing what ball he's referring too! Sometimes it's the tomatoes in the fridge, or the frozen grapes in the freezer, other times it's socks in the laundry basket or those black camera things that hang from the ceiling when we're at Walmart!
Well, on this day he found the best "BALL" of all!

Lucky for me, my camera was close by....and he let me take a picture!

Okay, I know I'm the "Mom", but he is so dang cute!

Sock Fight!

When I was a kid my Mom would convince us to match & fold socks by letting us have "Sock Fights" afterwards. Many an hour was waisted on wars, and it's something I can't wait to let my kids do as they get a little bit older....but the other night, my Dad sat on the floor in my bedroom (my bed was covered in clean laundry) while my Mom was in my chair and Levi came over and sit in his lap. Next thing we know Levi gets up & takes a handful of socks & starts throwing, while yelling "Gamp-paw". Two minutes later big brother Brennan was helping & we had a sock "toss" going...It's so fun to have Grandparents close! I know it's a little white trash, but I just think babies are so cute when they have those big diapers hanging out form under a shirt, then when Levi would bend over the edge of the basket to reach another hand full of socks, you could see his cute little legs! So much fun, but so much trouble! The really scary thing is, I think he's more like me than I'm wanting to admit! :)

*Just in case you've never had a "sock fight"....hears how, and you could do it for F.H.E.!
1. Match sock & roll into ball by tucking one sock into the other.
2. Divide sock equally.
3. Pick who's on what team.
4. Take Cover!!! (Sofa, bed, or over stuffed chair will do!)
5. Through your heart out & hope no hits you!
Go until your out of sock and start again...Everyone is a winner!
