Texas Style Fun!

You know how they say everything in Texas is bigger & better!?! Well, after a week with our cousins from Texas, we believe it!
I can't remember the last time we played so much....so hard...or until we were just to tired to play anymore! What fun!!!


Here are Connor & Stephanie (our favorite cousins from Texas!)


4 Wheeling by Sand Hollow (don't mind Brock's face he just about fell just as I took the picture!)


They boys had an especially great time with Connor & Stephanie as they went 4 Wheeling, Swimming in Veyo, Hiking in Zion's National Park, to the Karate Kid Movie, Hiking at Dixie Rock, and did I mention Hiking!?!


It was so cute how excited Connor got about all the mountains & different kinds of landscape...you forget how lucky we are until someone who lives where it's mostly flat comes to visit!

Stephanie was so great to take the boys hiking...it's something they don't get to do with me! They had such a blast! Thanks Steph!!!


The two buddies...Brennan & Conner! They had fun last year being pen pals, but more fun this year as adventurers!

All in all, it was a great week! And we hope our cousins get to come back next year!

I Look Ridiculous!

Each time Todd is on his way out of town for Football or some other sport he takes and has a little one on one time with each of the boys...When Levi gets his time with Dad he always wants to read books. One we just brought home from the library seemed to fit perfectly it's call "You look ridiculous!"
The book is about a hippo who is told she looks ridiculous by a rhino because she has no horn...and so the story goes!
Why this fits so well is because after our last trip for hair cuts, we walked outside and upon seeing his reflection in the window Levi informed me "I look ridiculous! Dis not Cool! I not Awesome!" Followed by a complete melt down. Needless to say he didn't like his hair and when we got home & he told Todd about looking "Ridiculous" we laughed & laughed!
How cute is our Levi even if he looks Ridiculous!?!

1 Day Digi Scrappin Workshop

On Memorial Day I went to a 1 Day Digital Scrap Book Workshop in Las Vegas with my Sister In-laws (Alisha who was teaching, & Nikki who was my own special technical support)....it was great fun! I learned a few new things & had the chance to meet all kinds of beautiful & amazing gals! Here are just a few of those cute ladies!

The great thing about this class is we were all able to bring our own computer's and follow along as we learned how to use the digital program, edit pictures, make custom blogs, and then do the recipe exchange! One other wonderful thing about this class was we were able to be there with our cousins that live there in Las Vegas that we love & don't get to spend as much time with as we would like...this is Vanessa & Mckenzie, plus you can't see her, but Patti sat next to me and kept me in raptures the whole time! (The blind leading the blind is never good!)

Thank goodness for my Sister Nikki who when my computer froze up, let me use hers...I'm glad she had already taken that part of the class!

Oh, and a Big Thanks to Becky who let us come to her huge beautiful new home...I was wishing I could find a closet to live in (I could have, and she would of never known)

Also I couldn't help but fall in love with her stair case....look how the grand piano doesn't look so grand next to the stairs! :)

So, a big Thank You Lish for holding the class it was a blast!!! We are all looking forward to the big 2 day class in November!
