Family Visit, June 2011

Dear Journal~ This week we had family from Texas, Salt Lake, and Vegas all come together here in St. George for a little reunion...

It was a great chance for a visit and while they were here, we all made a quick trip out to Kanab to see a family memorial...for the Stewarts!

20 Year Viewmont High School Reunion

In July 2011 Todd & I made a quick trip to Salt Lake for my 20 year Viewmaon High School Reunion... Wow! How fast have those 20 years flown by...It seems just like yesterday that I was loading as many kids as possible into Dad's truck Tessa after a Friday night football game and heading to someones house to watch movies!

Thanks to Grandma & Grandpa Nelson for letting us stay! It was a fun night...and I loved High School, but had forgotten how click-ee it was...Glad that's over! :) Every 20 years is enough.....At least the people I loved back then, are still the same cool people I love & get to keep in contact with today!

Trip to Logan, August 2011

Our Beautiful Cousin Madeline turned eight this August and we couldn't miss her baptism so we loaded up the trailer and headed north...in our car-a-van was Andrew & Nikki along with my yukon full of Grandma & Grandpa, Uncle Paul who had been visiting from Salt Lake and was riding with us home...my three boys and my 4 wheeling trailer full of all three families camping supplies. All this to stay at my Brother Jason's house in Logan! What and adventure!

Two of Uncle Pauls kids met us in Holiday to pick him up and have lunch...Mindy & Eric!

Carter is such a lover....you can't keep him Mindy!

We arrive in Logan and set up camp....Nikki & Andrew's family take the Camping Trailer Jason has, I set up the Tent (with air matress) and Grandma & Grandpa head to the basement...we would have stayed in Hotels but they were booked because of a Utah State Football game and Live Stock Show...Camp "La Shondell" as my Dad called it, worked just fine!

Madeline was our only "Girl" cousin in the family for many years and has learned to hold her own with the boys...We Love Nerf Guns!

This is Tiger...and his name fits! He is so super cute...and all trouble, much like his father Jason! :)

The cousins had a grand time playing at the park across the street....

The kids loved sleeping in the tent...Mom was just glad we dressed warm & brought the space heater...it sneaked into the 50's during the night!

Madeline looks beautiful for her big day! So grown up!
