Todd agreed to take most of our grass out in the backyard for a garden,(14x21 to be exact). After two days & 8 hours of back breaking work Todd removed the unwanted grass.
Here we are with the piles of manure...
Thank goodness for modern technology!!! (The big gun did the trick)
Now just add dirt,
a few plant starts, water and...
Two and a half weeks later you have (believe it or not) a garden!

This garden has been a lot of hard work, but a real blessing for the fact that it reminds me daily how grateful I am for this beautiful and amazing world we live in. We are so spoiled with the ease of going to the store any time we need something. I thank my Heavenly Father each day for all the many luxuries I enjoy and this blessing of learning to garden.

Wow...that is looking great! great job!
wow the garden looks great. what do you have planted? i can't tell, do you have soaker hoses in there as well, or do you just water with a sprinkler. being married to a garden loving husband has gotten me very interested.
ok, wow!!! It only took 2 1/2 weeks to look that gorgeous? I planted mine 3 weeks ago and it's barely sprouted. Maybe it's the weather. Rain is good, but a little sunshine couldn't hurt. Miss you!!!
