Old Things Made New!

I have this cute purse that I bought about 3 year ago and I loved it, but the strap that held the handle on broke, & then it started to come undone along the stitching in the wicker, so I stuck it up in my closet because I didn't have the heart to toss it!

Well, the other day I realized I really needed a new purse for summer, & in looking around was not finding anything I was willing to pay $40 buck for....so I decided to fix up the old one...after a little time re-stitching & making a big fun flower for the front it's almost as good as new and pretty cute too!

Oh, the flower is held on by velcro so I can change it if I want down the road!
Yes, these are the things I end up doing instead of house work! (Shh, don't tell my husband!) ;)
