10 - 12 Boneless Chicken Thighs
1/2 Pound Prosciutto Ham (I can only find it at Harmon's in the deli)
10 Slices of Havarti Cheese (sliced sandwich thickness)
1 Cup Parmesan Cheese (Shredded)
1 Can Chicken Broth
Salt & Pepper to taste (I use Garlic Salt)
Bake @ 350 for 25 to 30 minutes or until no longer pink.
To start, have your chicken thighs rinsed and ready.
First, place a medium size frying pan on stove, heat to med/high, seer each piece of chicken on both sides.
Each pieces should take about 30 seconds per side, & this helps the chicken hold it's flavor while cooking.
When finished seering, place chicken in a glass baking dish.
Now that the chicken is in the baking dish, sprinkle a little salt & pepper on top, then cover each piece of Chicken with a piece of prosciutto. Prosciutto is ham that has been seasoned and aged, it has a very strong flavor & you want your slices to be paper thin...
Next cover the chicken & prosciutto with a slice of Havarti cheese, I fold the cheese into pieces that fit on the larger pieces of chicken, then use the extra cheese to cover the smaller sized chicken.
The chicken is about ready now....open your can of chicken broth and pour a little bit of broth over the top of each piece of cheese, chicken combo....(you will only use about 1/2 the can, you don't need much)
Top with shredded Parmesan cheese.
Your ready to go!
Bake and enjoy this super yummy dish!
*Sorry I don't have a picture of my chicken cooked, but this is going in the oven to sit & wait until we are on our way home from football...I just program the oven to cook if for me & it's full proof!
~Okay here it is all warm & cheesy....
